Everyone wants a glow up to look good, feel better , be more confident, and be the best version of themselves. But here’s the thing. . A true glow up is not just the outter appearance, that’s the truth. A true transformation comes from healing within your for inner growth self and also outter changes, it’s a mix of both.
i know the feeling firsthand, i went from the one being overlooked, doubted, seeking others approval to now unlocking my potential through my mindset, faith, and taking action . here is how you can do the same as well and what i have learned.
1 : Upgrade your Fashion and Appearance
wear clothes that fit you well and make you feel comfortable in your own skin, start with neutral basics and add 1-2 neutral basics
grooming : Haircuts i cant stress this enough, skincare, and hygiene needs to be a habit a daily, invest in a good tooth brush seriosuly no joke keep your teeth white, cut your nails weekly, incoporate different types of face creams , and body lotions to keep your skin glowing shining, go for products that are more natural rather than ones filled ingredients that would make you breakout.
Posture and Body language: make eye contact, keep your head held high up always when you are in public, make eye contact, it does not hurt to smile a little, even though i have a poker face all the time in public its a bit contradicting im telling you this but engage with others, live in the moment, say a kind word to stranger, try these little things watch your confidence increase significantly, positive energy always goes a long way and always comes back to you .
2 Invest in your health and fitness
Diet : i use to have really bad skin then i started a fruit fast daily, Diet is such a big important thing, what you put in your body will show on the outside overtime, if you eat bad you cant expect to look good or feel good , start adding whatver fruits you like, oranges, blueberries, kiwi, so on and overtime you will feel so much better, its hard to do but building healthy eating habits will increase how you feel and look.
Hydration : water water water. seriously every morning i drink 500ml of water then in the day ill increase my intake as they day goes on, very important, water is essential because it sweats out bad toxins and keeps your skin hydrated, leaving your skin glowing and giving you the benefits you need.
Workout: what i do is pushups every morning. a set of 10 till failure, invest into a gym membership, go for a run, all these little things will help your glow up in the process, its so benefital to have a workout because it so healthy for you and it feels good when incoporate into your daily life.
3 : Build inner confidence and Change Mindset
Heres the the thing, True growth happens when you do inner healing and your mind and spirit are aligned together.
Self worth : Stop seeking other peoples approval, know who you are and your worth, stop letting the opinions of others determine your value because thats not who you are, most of the time its a insecurity that someone else is dealing with and people will try to make you feel how they feel and you have to know, that is not your problem to deal with.
Resilience : Never let or allow a tough situation or setback in life to throw you back or have you in your feelings, thats what we tend to do when times get tough people throw in the towel , instead embrace it, thats what i did i asked my self, what can i learn f`rom this? what is this teaching me, instead of looking at it from ” this is too tough” look at it from a lens of ” im growing this is what i need” and instantly you will see how easier it is to deal with things in daily life.
Faith and Purpose : Whether spirtual or personal having a guiding principal and truth will strengthen you from the inside. for me it was leaning on to God and reading the bible that kept me going through hard times. a verse and reminder for me that kept me
Focus on self: this one seems pretty obvious, but seriously, we live in a world where everyone is trying to compete with the other person, stop looking at what others have and focus on what you have, you have your own gifts and talents you just have to discover it, we all have a time and life where we get to shine, just understand that your time will come so be patient and look at your own goals.
